These terms are between you and ProlifAI Ltd, registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, which runs Aminah. Contact: quantum@prolifai.xyz.

Asking Aminah

Aminah holds no view of her own and follows no school. She reports what the schools that consider themselves part of Islam hold, attributed to each, as far as her sources reach.

What Aminah is, and what her answers are

Aminah is, and will remain, a tool powered by artificial intelligence (AI): an evolving, experimental technology that is not yet fully understood. AI can be wrong, incomplete or misleading, even when it sounds confident, so check what matters against the sources she shows. Her answers are for learning and research: they report what the sources and the schools hold, attributed to each. The law that applies to you is the law of the place where you live, and you decide what to do with what you learn. If you are not familiar with what AI can and cannot do, please learn about it, or ask someone with relevant expertise, before relying on Aminah or any other AI tool.

Without an account you may ask Aminah only, three questions a day; the other models need an account. With an account, each answer is paid for in credits. Greetings, questions about Aminah herself, and answers that fail or are withheld cost nothing.

Credits

• An answer costs between 1 and 15 credits, depending on the work it takes; most cost a few. Your balance is shown at the top of the page, and the notes under each answer (“How she got here”) say what it cost.
• A new account receives free credits, and a daily check-in adds free credits. Free credits have no cash value, cannot be refunded or transferred, and are spent before bought credits. We may change the free credits offered.
• Bring a friend: when someone opens a new account through your invitation link, you and they each receive 50 free credits, for up to 10 friends a month. The gift is given only to a new account that also received its welcome credits.
• Fridays: the check-in on a Friday (UK time) adds 30 free credits that can be used for 7 days and then lapse. They are spent before your other credits.
• Credits are bought in top-ups: £5 for 500 credits, £10 for 1000 credits, £20 for 2000 credits. Prices include VAT. There is no subscription and nothing renews: you pay only when you top up.
• Bought credits do not expire while your account is open.
• An answer may take your balance below zero once, by at most one answer's cost; you can ask again once your balance is above zero.

The general chat

• Aminah answers questions of the deen. For other questions, a signed-in person may ask a general AI model through Aminah. Each reply names the model that wrote it.
• Every model offered keeps no data from your conversation (zero data retention).
• The community guidelines apply to every model, as described under Aminized below. A question of the deen is answered by Aminah herself.
• An answer costs what the model provider charged for it, plus 10%, after VAT and the card fee; at least 1 credit. The most one answer can cost is shown under the box before you ask. Your balance must cover that maximum.
• A message that is refused, fails or is withheld costs nothing.
• Aminized is our word for how the general chat reads what passes through it. You type what you want. We read it, and we show it as we think it should be shown, paraphrased if it needs to be. We do not censor thought: we keep the adab of dialogue (adab al-hiwar), the adab of asking questions (adab al-su’al) and the adab of seeking knowledge (adab talab al-‘ilm). In practice, each question is read before it is sent to a model, and each answer before it is shown to you. Sometimes we put a question in our own words before sending it, as a friend repeats a question back to be sure of it, and to leave out anyone’s private details; it is never a judgement of you. We are not perfect: if we miss what you meant, tell us, and forgive us. The few things the community guidelines list are not sent, and an answer that strays into them is not shown. The reading is done by an AI model that keeps no data, and nothing of your conversation is kept for it.

Refunds

You may cancel a top-up within 14 days of buying it and have it refunded in full, if none of its credits have been spent. After that, or once you have used them, bought credits are not refundable, except where the law gives you a right to a refund. If the service closes, we will refund the credits you bought and have not used. To ask for a refund, write to us from the email address of your account.

Fair use

Use Aminah for your own questions. Paying for credits does not give a right to abuse the service, including abuse aimed at Aminah or at the models themselves. Do not try to break her checks, overload the service, resell access, or open accounts to collect free credits. We may suspend an account that does; bought credits left on it will be refunded.

Your account

You can delete your account at any time from your account panel. Deleting it ends your free credits; ask for a refund of unused bought credits before you delete it.

Our responsibility

We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not allow to be limited, or your rights as a consumer.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
